Mirjam Varadinis

Mirjam Varadinis is art historian and a curator at Kunsthaus Zürich since September 2002. There she is in charge for contemporary art and has organized various exhibitions, among others the group show “Shifting Identities – (Swiss) Art Now” and solo exhibitions with Adrian Paci, Mircea Cantor, Runa Islam, Tino Sehgal, Erik van Lieshout, Aleksandra Mir, Nedko Solakov, Urs Fischer, David Shrigley a.o.. She has published numerous catalogues and artist books. In 2006 she was the co-curator of “Printemps de Septembre”, an annual festival of contemporary arts in Toulouse (France). In 2005 she launched Internet-Platform (in collaboration with Annie Wu).

Philippe Van Cauteren

Philippe Van Cauteren is artistic director of S.M.A.K. (Museum for Contemporary Art, Ghent, Belgium). Since 2005 is he directing the museum towards its future developments in accordance to the necessities and needs of a contemporary art museum. Under his guidance the exhibition program mainly concentrates on major monographical exhibitions : Lois Weinberger, Kendell Geers, Paul Mc Carthy, Mark Manders, Dara Birnbaum, Jorge Macchi, Nedko Solakov, a.o….In the past he has been working as a freelance curator and publicist in Germany, Mexico, Chile and Brasil. In 2002 he was curator of the first Biennal Ceara America in Fortaleza (Brasil). He regularly writes and lectures on contemporary art.
